White Beach Resort, Puerto Galera | Post-Graduation Getaway
Right after our graduation, me and my college friends immediately made a plan for our summer getaway. Since it's already summer, we are looking for something a destination that is budget-friendly and has an amazing view of course! Our original plan was actually to go to Ilocos Norte but unfortunately we had a hard time finding a car rental and a place to stay so we searched again for another place and finally led us to White Beach Resort, Puerta Galera.
GOING TO BATANGAS PORT
We arrived at ALPS Bus Terminal Cubao at 6 o'clock in the morning and left at around 8:00 AM. It's quite late when we left because others came late (Filipino time!)

We reached Batangas Port at around 11:00AM and waited for about 15-20 minutes before we boarded.
All smiles and we're all excited!
Finally arrived! I already saw the resort's beauty from afar and as we go on, the view gets more and more beautiful, getting us more excited to finally step on our feet in the white sand beach.
White Beach Resort is the most popular beach in Puerto Galera because by it's white sand beach, the coast is surrounded with bars and restaurants, lots of inns to stay in, different water activities by the shore and of course it's night life by the beach. It's so convenient to stay here because you've got everything you need! So, yes, expect it to be crowded especially during peak season and holidays.
DAY 1
It's already 1 o'clock in the afternoon and we're all hungry. Once we arrived, we put down our bag first at our respective rooms and right after that, we decided to eat at the nearest restaurant.
When we all felt a bit rested after we eat, time to see the beautiful sunset by the beach and this is the perfect moment for a silhouette shot.
Dinner time! It's the best feeling eating just beside the seashore. Yummy food + sound of the calm waves = perfect!
We came here to have fun and enjoy each other's company. So time to play those cards! hehe. By just seeing them having fun while playing, I got more excited for what's gonna happen next on our second day at the beach. Too bad, I also felt sleepy while watching them, so I'm the first one to sleep :)
DAY 2
On our 2nd day, after having our breakfast and a little photo op at the beach, we decided to visit the famous Tamaraw Falls. It's just 15-20 mins away from the White Beach Resort.

Had a quick stopover here overlooking the nice view of the beach while we're on our way going back to the resort.
Got surprised when I saw a local fire dancer performs while we're looking for a restaurant to eat. Night life here was indeed a great one!
At night, you can go bar hopping, listen to live bands while drinking with friends, and you can also watch the different performances of the gays at the comedy bars. I tried to watch some of them while I'm walking & looking for a mango shake and they are so funny! Oh! by the way I almost forgot that there are also lots of massage therapist by the shore offering a body massage either half/full. I also tried that one and it's super relaxing because the massage session is just located also by the shore, just a perfect ambiance! Don't worry to be seen by other people while having the massage because it's quite dark at the sea shore.
DAY 3
This is our 3rd and last day at the beach so we planned to make it to the fullest. We woke up early, had our breakfast, suited up to have photo ops again at the beach with my bestie.
My original plan was actually to rent a jetski for 1 hour ride which costs Php 1,500 but I find it too pricey and I only have a limited budget remaining that's why we all agreed that instead of pushing our own wants, we will just ride a banana boat so that all of us will enjoy and less expense as well.
Overall, it's been a wonderful post-graduation getaway experience for all of us. We had the chance to bond and get together before we enter and face the real industry of our chosen careers. Glad that even though at first we're having a hard time to plan, we still managed to push this 3 days-2 nights getaway. I hope that this will be not the last and we will see and bond each other again soon.
